Dear Friends,

We look forward to 2011 being a great year for Helping Hand!

Helping Hand currently takes care of 60 registered children that are actively attending the center, consisting of 34 children with medical diagnoses and 26 children without medical diagnoses.

We strive on a daily basis to ensure that we provide the very best in care. Just some of our areas of emphasis would be:

• Support of “Reverse Mainstreaming” with all of our children spending time together throughout the day.
• A lower and more personal ratio of 3 children with medical diagnoses to one Helping Hand medical staff member and 4 children without medical diagnoses to one Helping Hand staff member.
• Our goal is to provide flexible, non-commitment scheduling. We always attempt to cater to parent’s needs and work schedule.
• Utilizing planned activities during the day such as “Music Time”, “Craft Time”, “Movie/Quiet Time”, “Outdoor Time”, and “Snack Time”.

Transportation can be arranged for the Medical Children to and from School. Any therapies needed for any of our children with medical needs can be accomplished daily at the center. All children with medical needs have individualized Plans of Care designed by the Parent, Helping Hand Medical Staff, and the Child’s Doctor.
